Upon receiving this sweatshirt I was very pleased. Once I washed it the fabric pulled and became deformed. I tried comtacting customer service through the chat and was told it was my fault, so they will not replace it. They would give me. 20% discount on my next order. I expected the item to be replaced as their website clearly states “Washing machine and dryer friendly”. After ordering yearly this is the first time this has occurred. The thing is I washed it with the same items I’ve washed eveeything else with and in the same washer and dryer. They claim it’s my fault but the other items in the same load were fine. Vwry disappointed and I don’t think ill order again if this is a possibility considering the price.
Store owner replied: Hi Holly, As you mentioned in your review, you were very pleased with the sweatshirt when you first received it. You received the order on November 27th, and the review was posted in March. All of our hoodies and many of our other pieces are made from the same high-quality French terry fabric, and you have purchased multiple items from us made from this fabric without reporting any issues. We dye and wash each item, so we know that wash/dry won't damage our garments. From the photos provided, the fabric shows clear surface pulls. This type of pulling occurs when soft knit fabrics come into contact with rough items such as Velcro, zippers, or other abrasive materials during washing or wear. Fabrics do not pull or deform on their own. Even though the item was purchased during a 50% sale, we still offered a 20% courtesy discount as a gesture of goodwill. We always strive to be fair and supportive to our customers while also standing behind the quality of our products.

This hoodie is super cute! I bought a size 3/4 for my son who would normally wear a size 2/3 and it fit as expected considering it is described as oversized. I am glad I went with the 3/4 and not 2/3.
